After beginning his career at MTV, where he developed a strong focus on visual and musical language, he has developed an auteurial career in the fields of documentary and fiction.

He has directed numerous documentaries, often focused on music, sports, and fashion. His works include Ferro (Prime Video), an intimate portrait of singer-songwriter Tiziano Ferro; All or Nothing: Juventus, an international sports series produced by Fulwell 73; and Armani Privé – A View Beyond, an exploration of Giorgio Armani’s Haute Couture. He also created Una Favola Siciliana and Puglia: Appunti di viaggio, documenting the creative dialogue between Dolce&Gabbana and Italy’s landscapes.

His short films Baradar (Brother), inspired by a true story of brotherhood and resilience, and We’ll Let You Know have won numerous international awards and were shortlisted the David di Donatello Awards and the Nastri d’Argento. In 2022 he worked on Italia 1982 Una storia azzurra, a feature length documentary about the story of a magnificent and unexpected sporting miracle that were the 1982 World Championships in Spain.

He has also directed commercials and branded content for global brands such as Armani, Barilla, Four Seasons, Timberland, Tod’s, Lancia and Intimissimi.

He has just completed his debut feature film, Il Mestiere (The Craft), with Luigi Lo Cascio, a co-production between Italy, France, and Belgium, selected at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival (Giornate degli Autori) and the Warsaw Film Festival (Free Spirit).
