BEPPE TUFARULO IS AN AWARD-WINNING ITALIAN DIRECTOR BASED IN MILAN. HE IS A VISUAL STORYTELLER WITH A HIGHLY AESTHETIC EYE AND HUMAN APPROACH. HE HAS BIG TIME DOCUMENTARY STYLE EXPERTISE.

He started his filmmaking career at MTV where he directed a variety of different projects including TV shows, music videos and documentaries in various countries around the world. He also has extensive experience shooting commercials for many international brands such as Armani, Barilla, Timberland, Tod’s, Intimissimi, Luxottica, Four Seasons, Diesel, Becks, Red Bull.

In addition to his advertising work, he has directed several music documentaries and the documentary Armani Privé – a view beyond, about one of the greatest Italian fashion artists, for Sky Arte HD.

He directed the short film Baradar (Brother), that has been selected and won awards in numerous international film festivals and has been nominated for a David di Donatello 2020. It’s a touching story of brotherly love, hope and resilience.

For Prime Video he has shot Ferro, the acclaimed documentary on Tiziano Ferro, one of the most successful Italian songwriters, and directed the series All or Nothing: Juventus.

In 2022 he worked on Italia 1982 Una storia azzurra, a feature length documentary about the story of a magnificent and unexpected sporting miracle that were the 1982 World Championships in Spain. Also in 2022 he wrote and directed Una Favola Siciliana, a documentary for Sky Arte which illustrates the intimate bond almost magical between the Dolce&Gabbana world and Sicily, a land of strength that has always been an absolute source of inspiration for the two stylists. In 2023 he realised ‘Travel Notes’ Apulia, an intimate portrait of Apulia, a travel journal made of notes, images, drawings and portraits that tell about the discovery of this land and the inspirations behind the Dolce & Gabbana collections.

He is currently developing his first feature film.
